Rinderle/King Family weekend II

Of course, being a hot weekend in September, we had to have a little back yard pool time with the kids...and as all our weekends w/ the Kings turn out...this one did too.  We were supposed to head home on Sunday afternoon.  After much cajoling, and the arrival of Tony and Laurie Mestres, (plus a few beers) we were suckered into a fun night of conversation and games.  Much to Noah's delight, bacon came to the rescue the next morning.

Rinderle/King Family Weekend at the Batch

We went to the Batch one lovely weekend this summer...It started out innocent enough with a trip to the local fruit stand/family fun center in Leavenworth.  The kids were able to ride the silly cow train pulled by a crazy old man with a tractor.  Feeding the animals was lots of fun too.  All festivities followed by a nice picnic in the park where we bootlegged in some beer and wine...what a lovely afternoon.

The next day started off at the shores of lake Wenatchee, and then off to horse riding!  Allie had wanted to ride a horse for ever, and she finally got her chance.  Noah wasn't old enough/big enough to go, so he stayed home and played golf w/ Sam in the back yard.  The rest of us had a fine time...dusty, but good.

In July, Lauren Formicola called and said that she was working with the Barnum and Bailey Circus, and wanted to know if we wanted tickets.  It was a pretty hectic time of year, and we had a lot on our plate at that point.  Circuses being what they are and all, we declined.  Later that night at dinner, we re-thought our decision..."how could we not take our kids to the circus?"

I went to work that day, and the crew came up that night for the Circus in Everett.  We went to the Flying Pig brewery for dinner, and then off we went.  I have to admit, we were SHOCKED at how great the circus was!  They did a fantastic job of entertaining both kids and adults.  Some spectacular stuff--especially the motorcycles in the round globe.  Allie and Noah had their first taste of cotton candy.  A great time was had by all...

Oh my goodness how time flies...our precious little girl is headed off for preschool at the Creative Learning center.  I am sooo happy that you love the school, your friends, and teachers as much as you do.
